Ok, after careful research, I have determined that I don't have much of a choice to keep my stock stereo in my 99 Grand Prix other than a fm modulator. Does anyone have any opinion on what brand works the best?

Monster iCar works really well for an fm transmitter.

Or you could search ebay for an older one before the fcc stepped in and cut down on transmission range and be all set for a super clean and clear sound.

Well, I have had terrible luck with FM transmitters in the past, and will be plugging in things different than just an ipod. I occasionally will want to plug in my GPS which runs my phone (bluetooth) and is also an MP3 player...

I have a cheap fm transmitter that has a usb port on it so I stuck a adapter for a 16GB SD memory card in it. It works, just the sound quality isn't very good. Bought it off of ebay.
My wish now is to find a way to hard wire a usb port into the stock stereo system.
