my girlfriend has a 98 gtp and her abs lights and all that are on and her cruise control doesnt work. I plugged it into our scan tool at school and noticed her right front speed sensor was always at 3mph i believe. Her wheel bearing was going bad anyways so i replaced it (sensors inside the hub) but the lights are still on and her cruise doesnt work. i noticed there was a like 2 foot section of wiring that runs up the inside of the engine bay, so i was going to check continuity of those ...if that doesnt work any other ideas?

Speed sensor would light up the ABS. Did you delete the code after you replaced it? Cruise could be a number of things.

Check the tail lights and make sure one is not loose.

Cruise is independent of the abs/traction. Cruise is based off the VSS sensor in the transmission.

Have you checked the cable at the throttle body to ensure it's connected and not broken from prior work on the car? Or does it not try to engage at all?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

doesnt try to engage at all but obviously the VSS sensor in the trans is fine because the speedometer is fine
