    Hey guys,

Im working on getting an ipod hookup on my Gtp. ive looked into FM transmitters and also new radios with built in auxilliary ports to play an mp3 player. id prefer to not go the transmitter route...

how hard is it to wire in an aux port to the stock cd changer? what parts and how do i do this by myself?

is it worth it to just get a new radio and install that? if so can i do this by myself without paying some dumb schmuck 100 bucks for labor? they want another hundred for parts such as adaptors to my car for the new radio.

    thanks guys

How you can add an aux input/mp3 player without an adapter - LS1TECH
This is for an fbody but im sure the radios are similar. I do NOT know if it will work in a gp or not for sure.

This SHOULD also work if you have a factory CD changer. Once again I DONT know for sure.

just wondering if you have any idea if a 2001 stock cd changer is the same as the one on the website. If i remember right they were working on a 98 grand am radio or a camaro radio.

    Thanks again

So i took my radio out and took it all apart hoping to copy what they did on the site you told me about and my radio is slightly different than the one they did it on. I don't have the long row of white wires to tap into....
    any ideas??
