So i have a plan for my new audio system let me know what u think and if u have any suggestions. First off im keeping my stock head unit because id like to retain the use of steering wheel control and i do not like the look of aftermarket ones because they always look unfinished sloppy to me for whatever reason so aftermarket h/u is out of the question. I'm going to buy a nice long role of 14 gauge wire and run all the connections from the h/u to an 4 or 5 channel amp in the trunk. I'm going to take all the stock speakers out of the doors, including tweeters an am going to purchase a new component system, probably around 100 dollars for those speakers. Then im also going to purchase 2 decent 6x9s and put them in the rear shelf and amp them too. But where i kind of get confused and need help is how could i incorporate a subwoofer in this system? If anyone could help me out that wouldd be awesome. Would something like as described be an improvement over stock? being as in if i buy decent products like fosgate or alpine or sometinhg?
