I've got two old L7's in a ported enclosure in my trunk (by old I mean the old design, the cone doesn't look like a spider and each sub is rated at 750 watts rms), and the right one has always made this strange noise while beig played loudly. Sort of like there's a leaf flying around in my box, but I've opened them up and the box is perfectly clean. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the speaker itself. Would anyone know what it may be and what I should look at?

I'm only using a 900 watt amp, so I haven't been overpowering them, and never made the amp clip, so I bet it's due to age. But it doesn't have any less sound quality than the opposite sub, so I have no idea what it could be, it doesn't sound broken.

Plus you can only hear it while standing in front of my open trunk, in the car you can't hear it at all.
