No offense or anything but rockford is talked up. Truthfully there are better speakers and things. Your prolly paying more than you need to for great sound quality

their amps come with birth sheets....

Thats like testing the T/S specs of each driver you ship out the door.... If only every company did that...

sounds like your gona kill the 6x9s to get the bassy from them..
a "proper" set-up (x over'd correctly) will have good mid bass....
but u NEED a sub to blend the sound correctly = SOUNDS VERY VERY GOOD!!

Also, about the speakers: Im looking for solid bass for the rear, and clear mids and high for the front. Dont want a subbbbb.

I actually did this to my car last weekend. I replaced both the front and rear speakers and kept the stock head unit. I did not install an amp. I honestly can say that the new speakers do sound better. It was not that big of a pain to do this and it only cost me $80. Let me know if you want any advice.
