Alright guys...car was down for a year...I figured this might have had something to do with it, but I've been using it just fine while it was warm outside. I went to go open the sunroof this morning and it budges MAYBE an inch, granted it was 29* outside too...and I was trying to force it open, but I didn't want to damage anything. When I close it, the switch makes a perfect connection and shuts right away just like it should. I do however notice now, once its shut...now it won't open again. I can't hear any sort of click or any other noise that might point towards it making contact. So, for anyone that has torn into the sunroof portion of the headliner...is there a switch that commonly takes a crap or do I have to replace the motor? I did, when I started driving it again a few months ago, re-grease everything...and that fixed the stutter it had sometimes...any help would be great...TIA.

Mine has sort of the same problem, it doesn't always go up smoothly. It'll stutter, and then I have to keep pressing the up button while it moves up half an inch. When it's fully up, it moves back no problem. It also comes down without a problem.. it's weird as hell.. Try a new switch, the whole top piece dome comes off. You can probably find one in a junkyard car.

Also take the glass off and check out what it's doing when you press up on it. Mine seemed to work perfectly without the glass on it for some reason...
