Alright well my DIC backlight is in the process of burning out
It seems to only be the left red light and not the right
Does anyone know of where to get a new bulb to replace them?
Also how would I go about changing them?

I got the bulbs from NAPA. They were the only auto parts store I could find that sells them. They are pretty easy to replace. Just pull the dash trim off and the DIC slides out with the bulbs accessible on the back.

Are they plug in or soldered on? My left one works intermittently...could just be a loose connection though. Sometimes if I kinda tap it the light will come back on so i think it's just the connection.

If you can tap it and have it on, its 100% guaranteed the bulb isn't burnt out, definitely a connection.

I'm confused though because the whole DIC goes out completely or just the right side lights up. It's done that ever since I put my HUD in. I messed with the connector makin sure none of the wires were pinched or anything but I can't figure it out.
My brother's car does the same thing when we put HUD in his. Except his either works or it doesn't. It's not like mine where only half of it works.

Sounds like a loose connection or faulty wire splice somewhere. You could always run the wire for the lights directly to a switched power source, but you'd lose the dimming feature.

I didn't have to splice though...my car is a 97 so it had the pigtails in there.
