yea its a kit that u can get to be able to keep the functionality of the steering wheel controls.u can find them at best buy or circuit city.
thanks alot, you guys are just as helpful as the beretta people, just less bickering lol
Thank you...It's nice to know were all appreciated![]()
when i had the alpine installed best buy hooked one up for me
I would think anywhere that sells after market head units would sell the interface. So you might beable to get it locally cheaper.
you can check on crutchfield.com (this is the model number PAC SWI-JACK Steering wheel control interface for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, and Kenwood). i have a 06 gp and they have one for it for $75.00 i found one at buy.com for $50.00. hope this helps
Yes, there are different modles of the PAC SWI. Buy the one that's for the head unit you have.
I have the PAC SWI PS and it works great. Plugged right into the the Wired Remote input on the back of my Pioneer.
i went and got one locally but unfortunatly it is not compatible with my deck
I use the pac swi-x. Look into that as well. I use it in my grand prix and my camaro. Should work with your headunit.
yea, thats the one i got. its not compatible with my jvc headunit
Yes. I was looking at them when I was about to buy an in-dash gps. But the wire was $130!!! It's probably cheaper for a normal deck though.
Why don't you check out crutchfield.com or buy.com. I found mine at crutchfield when i bought my head unit from them(for a kenwood dnx 5120 for $74.99). But i found it cheaper at buy.com for $48.00. Hope this helps.

my suggestion is to find the product number of the one that you need by searching your vehicle info in crutchfield.com to make sure it is compatible. put the product information in the search on ebay. i have one actually sitting in my apartment if it will work with your stereo. let me know, cuz i'll sell it for 35.
