loose connection
Mine has been doing this for the last 6 months. I've subscribed to 5 different threads about this. No one knows how to fix it or what's causing the problem. Ive replaced all wheel sensors, my PCM, my DIC. My speed sensor. Everything I can think of.
^^^then it could be a wiring issue
Brake control module?
Wirings good, checked it all unfortunately.
Anyone find a solution to this? I am the new owner of a 40th anniversary (first post), and my info center display is intermittent. When I test drove the car it worked fine, but then after the transaction there was no lights on the display on the way home. Then a few days later it was on again, and now it has not been back on since. Like others I have read around the forum I have looked at it and it just the right light you can see that the numbers are changing, I guess indicating that the unit is working, there is just no light to it. The button backlights all seem to be working, but the display itself is not illuminated. Is this just an issue of bulbs? That seems odd since it randomly came back on that one time. I also called the previous owner and they said that it had been intermittent in the past as well. Any other ideas, or has anyone found a solution?
old thread but I'll give it a shot.
I am having similar problem. Mine would blink out then come back on. Started to do it more frequently as time went on. Then I noticed it would go out when I turned my heater blower on. After a day or so I am having a hard time getting the blower motor on unless I put it on HI. Any ideas?
Ordered a new ignition switch. Figures it would go in the winter :/
Sparky's Answers had detailed instructions for install. Everything working again![]()
