Okay, so I'm pretty familiar with hids.

However I'm contemplating between two things here.

1.35w or 55w? I had hids on my old car but had no idea what wattage.

    2. I know this is personal preference, but, I had 6000k in my old car, and I liked it. However I'm considering 12000k mehbe little more exotic :P and also doing my fogs 12, Idk whatta you guys think? Too ricey? Oh and if I did 12s I would match them with blue led front turn signals, and if I got 6 I would do white.

Thanks guys, just looking for some feedback.

The wattage kinda determines how bright they are. A 55w HID kit will have a more powerful light output then a 35w HID kit. This being said... with a 55w kit, you will lose some of your color from the bulb. More white will show through then blue.

and if you liked 6000K, you'd probably be disappointed with the 12000K. It's very blue. Also when you travel higher in the color temperature, you lose light output. So you'd see a lot more road with 6000K then you would with 12000K.

My personal opinion is that I hate blinding blue HID's. I mean 8000K is more then enough blue, but hey it's up to you. Hopefully this helped a bit

    Yep certainly did sir, thanks.

If it were up to you though, would you get 35 or 55?

I have 35 watt. I'm curious to try the 55w now. So I would try the 55 watt even though the 35 is more then enough. Just be cautious that you'll most likely need a relay harness with the 55 watt to protect your stock factory wires.

the difference between 55w and 35w is going to be minimal seeing as how our cars only produce a certain level of amperage for use with the electrical system. you can't magically make up efficiency.

Okay so I'm leaning more towards 35w because I feel like what you huys are saying is that its not really worth it.

What about temperature? Any more input on that? At this point 12k is out, however I'm now debating between 8 and 6, what do you guys think?

I think 35W and 6000K is the best IMO. I think 6000K gives it a more luxury/exotic car look and 8000K or more gives it a more ricer look.

Yeah I would tend to agree because like I said before, 35w (good 35w kit) with 6000k looked extremely nice.

    Any more opinions?

I love my 5000K But I do kinda wish they were whiter at times. Sometimes they let out pure white. Sometimes I get blue, and sometimes I get yellow. It all depends on the kit. I would try 6000K if I were you. I personally love just a clean bright white. I mean blue is cool... but it's kinda ricey in my book.

Agreed, well I went ahead and ordered two 6000k kits from hidextra.com, great website that has been a pleasure to work with in the past, anyways for a grand total of $120, I got my kits.

All I know is that I'm excited to put those badboys in my fogs because I've never been fortunate enough to deal with projectors. So I'm very excite to see how nice and clean those look.

P.s. hidextra had all 35w kits, but there is still plenty of light output there.
