Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the stock radio? Im not entirely sure if you pull off the bezel or if there is a way to remove it from under the console or behind it. I need to know cause im going to do it myself and save some money. Thanks.

Remove two screws holding the drivers side bottom cover of the dash (hint, one screw is near the OBD II port) then pull it towards you.

Then tilt the steering wheel all the way down then pull towards you... pull on the clips until it comes off, then take it off?

Then its two screws/bolts on the side of the radio

Thanks man. Does any one know if you need unlock codes to take the radio out or anything? Any more info would be great.

Thanks. My car has the volume controls/seek/fm-am/ etc buttons on the steering wheel. Would replacing the radio with an aftermarket one effect this feature at all? If so how do you make it still work?

if you put in a aftermarket radio the controls on the steering wheel will no longer work.

Unless you buy an adapter part the will connect to it and make it work.

Places that sell and install car audio. Best Buy, Future Shop.... places like that should have them, or can get them. Or any car audio instalation shop. Or you can get them on e-bay.

it'll look a lot like the wiring harness going into the back of your radio, but it'll have an extra spot for the steering wheel control harness. i'll try to find you one

not the idea i was thinking of but here's one:http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=294&catid=107
