I just got a Navigation system and antenna off ebay and I want to install it in my 2008 GXP with Monsoon and Onstar. Has anyone done this and has any helpful advice? I have no idea where to mount the antenna, or how to link the vehicle speed sensor VSS? I know I will have to get it programmed by a tech II scanner, but that's all I know, can anyone help??

Did you ever figure anything out?? Im doing this in my 06. It will at least still work fine for a radio for the time being right? Hopefully this is a fairly simple swap

No it won't work, it will be locked until programmed at dealer.

The VSS should already be a part of the existing wire harness. As far as the NAV antenna I believe it is to be mounted in the front dash somewhere.

I don't think you have to unlock nav radios it should work might sound funny or your steering wheel controls might not work or be backwards. If so it will need programmed. I think you will be able to plug and play tho. I would just put the antenna in the center if the dash closest to the windshield
