My wife owns a 2006 GXP. Everything in it is 100% factory. We got the car new, and have made no modifications.
Intermittently, her HUD and GPS have been ... not functioning. She tells me that the problem is always present when she turns on the car - she'll crank it over, and either the GPS will be on, or it won't. (This as opposed to, she's driving down the street and it just goes off.) I guess she can hear music coming from her stereo or whatever, and can control the volume and power, but the screen is blank black and of course touching it does nothing.
Evidently the HUD is roughly the same. It'll simply be there or it won't. Messing with the controls doesn't help, she says.
And evidently these problems emerged at the same time, though they are both intermittent. (Today, driving home from work, the GPS worked but the HUD did not.)
Any thoughts guys?
(I did do a search for some of the terms I thought to be relevant, but came up with nothing. I apologize if this is a common issue and has been answered a million times or something.)
