Thread: '03 GTP DIC LCD inop

Well got it pulled out today and changed all 3 bulbs behind the lcd screen. No luck, still doesn't work. The bulbs don't even light up. I swapped the buld from the tcs light and moved it to the lcd screen, and it doesn't work there, moved it back to the tcs, and it works, so it's not the bulbs. Once you start the car up, all the led lights behind the buttons light up. At times they flicker off and stay off, but eventually come back on. If you hit the mode, reset, or the other button with them, the lights flash for those buttons flash everytime you press one. The TCS button and low trac lights work fine. Nothing on the circuit bords looks fried, though one of the clips that holds the DIC faceplate to the plastic body that houses everything was melted. Aparently this issues started when the company on base that was storing the car jumped it when the battery was dead. DIC has not worked since, and my Dad didn't notice till it was to late to file a claim.

So is the whole thing fried? Any ideas?
