i Have a grand prix 98 and i got a stereo set and cant find a double din for the car...do they sell them if not do i need to take it back or could i modify the dash?

To fit a double din hu u would need to modify the dash its been done before. Just used the search button

if you want something that is a direct fit, you dont want a double din. you want a 1.5 din radio.

soo a 1.5 would fit for a double DIN? .... cuz im so confused

the majority of radios being sold are a SINGLE DIN size.
the slot in our dash is 1.5 DIN size.
they sell DOUBLE DIN radios too, but they are too big for our dash unless you modify it.

you literally start cutting, fiberglass and body filler till its smooth and paint it.
