I actually had another question as far as the ports on the box. I was thinking about the idea of having the subs face toward the back of the car and having the port right behind the opening in the center of the back seat. I planned on removing the door and just having it open all the time.

im gonna do my box for my 4 10's kinda the same way , beside the 6x9 you should have a 4 inch speaker there , take that out and run the port into that , you gain a 3 db gain just by letting it hit the rear glass, but if you do 2 12's id go jl w3 great stuff , little expensive but well worth it , my 15w3 has been loud as sin for the last 3 years , last bass off i went to i pulled a 143.3 with that one sub and the 4's out

Did you test that or guess?

And the guy who claimed he's been doing car audio "4 10 years" No one has lived for 410 years to my knowledge.

Ok im really lazy so i didnt read through any of the submissions so sorry if im restating anything,
If you want a really good ported box go to the kicker website and search the kind of subs you have and theyll basically give you the manual to the sub, inside it tells you the exact specs to make the boxes, use them lol
