I recently had to jumpstart my 99 GT. After that, my digital DIC was blank. The TRAC lights and all buttons still light up but not the LCD display. I got another used DIC, plugged it in, and still no LCD. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? All other electrical systems check out ok and all fuses are ok.

Would a bad PCM cause other electrical problems besides the blank DIC?

if you have multiple electrical problems i'd try re-doing your main grounds first.

Everything else seems to work fine. The only thing that doesn't work is my Daytime Running Lights but that is because the diode is bad and just haven't replaced that yet. I will verify the grounds are ok. Where are the main grounds located?

main grounds are under the hood but if thats all that doesnt work then i'd vote PCM or DIC. Again, try it in someone elses car.

The replacement DIC I bought was working when I removed it from another car but when I plugged it into my GP, the LCD was still blank. I took my car to an auto repair shop and they ran a series of tests on the electrical system and said it had to be a bad DIC. So if the DIC was ok before then something is taking out the DIC when I plug it in or there is still some electrical problem preventing the DIC to work.
