I agree. If you do the big 3 just protect your investment. Why enhance a system, but leave yourself at risk? May cost you more later!
My Big 3:
1. Replaced battery ground to chassis with a larger ground.
2. Straight fused line from battery to alternator.
3. Replaced all engine to chassis grounds.
That should do it in a nut shell!
I'm not sure if anybody wants to comment on this...I put a new block terminal on the battery and ran straight back to my amps with 4awg. It's fused right at the battery and at the blocks in the trunk too. Maybe a bit much...
