So im installing a massive 0 gauge dual amp kit in my gp, and it has a inline fuse and a fused distribution block. Do i need to use both of them? The inline fuse is 250 amp, while the distribution block has 2, 100 amp fuses. Im running a 1200 watt amp, and a 1000 watt class d amp and not sure if i need to install the inline fuse if using a fused distribution block.

ok i know pioneers have the problem of the RCA grounds in the deck comming apart, in which case they must be resoldered. you can also use a jumper wire to all the RCA jacks in the back of the deck. whatever you do there is definatley a bad ground

I have also been wondering about my subwoofer. I'm running a Rockford fosgate P3 ( Dual 4 ohm) in a q-logice type 2 sealed box that is facing the rear of the trunk. Its powered at 500 rms at 2 ohms by a 1000 watt kenwood amp. To me it sounds weak, almost no bass unless i got it cranked pretty loud. i have never heard one 12 inch sub running around the same power to compare it to. I'm worried the amp is not running full potential, because i had to open it up a few times to attach a ground, since the kid before me snapped off the terminal. This might be a dumb question, but can someone try to get me in the ball park on what i should experience from 1 12 inch woofer.

So i changed up my ground, and still get horrible feedback. I can hear my hids turn on, the ballasts fire up, my engine idle, pretty much anything, and its loud. I even get feedback when i unplug the rcas from the back of the head unit. Im lost with no ideas....

I grounded my system (which has 1/0 gauge wire and a whole second battery in the trunk) to the bolts that come off the strut. I have no feedback.

its the headunit itself, the RCA grounds are probably bad

if the RCAs are not connected and you are still gettin engine noise, then its the head unit. resolder the grounds or have someone do it, then make sure its reinstalled properly and not vibrating against any metal or anything that would make the problem happen again

is this the fuse on the back of the head unit? mine has a 10 amp fuse on the back that i checked today, which it was fine. if this is the one you are talking about im not sure. For mod in the sticky, will 12 gauge speaker wire work to wrap around the rcas? and if this doesnt work ill probably just give up for awhile.
