i'm very helpful when people ask useful questions, if you don't know how to do something as simple as this, you shouldn't be trying. Its kind of a, so you don't ruin a perfectly good car thing

your just lucky i was the first to post before kawa and bluegtp, good luck

    Look at it?

Thats how you get anything apart.

"How do you pull an engine?"

Remove everything attached to it and pull... VERY simple concept but it comes down to your practical skills and common sense.

If you dont have those two tools, you shouldn't even own any tools in the first place.

Is everyone on this website an arrogant stuck up ***** or just you two? It was a question that could have been answered without being a smartass. Or not replied to at all. Get over yourselves.

Its when people like you, do their own brakes I become concerned.

If you can't figure out the relocation of a single switch, how are capable of changing pads and rotors and torquing everything properly?

That becomes a real safety hazard for everyone.

    What is the point?

so people can't just pop your trunk when they break into your car and steal your stereo?

Something I never got around to is wiring up the trunk pop so that it only works when the key is in the ignition.. or installing a disable switch, or connecting to my alarm so when it is armed the switch won't see power.

    - you did ask a sorta silly question.. make an effort first then ask.

pull the lighter out, put a plate over where it used to be and then mount the button there. rewire it from its stock location and then do the same thing with the lighter.

    how hard is this?

I like leaving it in the glove box because then you can lock the glove compartment therefore nobody has access to the trunk except you.

Pretty simple just take the wires that are connected to the trunk button and relocate them wherever you like. You could probably use the stock button or find a new one. Pretty much the same concept with the cig lighter. Just be careful because the wires that are from the cig lighter are LIVE wires and have a full 12v going to them (I thinkg?..)

    Good luck!
