i have 97 GTP just put a aftermarket jvc head unit in it. ive been searching everywhere and cant find a wiring diagram or anything to tell me which wire i have to splice in to the remote wire of my after market radio harness. i have two connectors behind the radio the factory radio plug and then another plug black with 3 wires but i think its for the steering control. i found somewhere on here it said i have to splice in to the pink wire but i dont see where thats at because i have no pink wires. i would like to know which is the factory remote wire for the amp to turn on.

you should have a blue and blue with white, blue is your amp, blue and white is P Ant, obviously you don't have a P Ant so just splice the blue to the blue in your aftermarket harness and thats connected to your factory amp remote power. And i didn't think 97 came with premium sound....?? On any model GP

The aftermarket harness that plugs into my factory gm plug with the blue remote wire doesn't go to anything on the factory plug. and i dont know what wire in the factory harness is the turn on wire for the factory amp.
