I purchased a 2000 GT parts car for the motor but it has other goodies to that I wouldn't mind switching. It has a heads up display and BOSE system that I am thinking about putting in mine. I found some threads on here related to the HUD but not much on the BOSE system. Has anyone swapped the systems out and if so what goes into it and is it worth it? I am thinking wiring is going to be the worst part but figured there would be existing plugs maybe??

    Any help would be appreciated.

you be wasting your time putting the bose system in. Not worth it. But if you did want to.
Gotta replace interior wiring harness, rear deck, add the amp which is mounted in trunk replace all speakers with the bose speakers and of course the radio it self

English translation: Basically rewire a lot of the interior of your car.

It might be, but you need one for the amp as well. I can't find that one in my trunk so most likely you'd have to rewire for it.

Thanks!!! Might just stick with installing the HUD and put the system I had in my other GP in this one w/o my subs.. I totally destroyed my first GP with my 3 JLAudio 12W6's... Don't plan on tearing this one up, at least not with a system!!
