Go to Home Depot or Lowes and pick-up some Loctite. It's used to keep screws and bolts/nuts from backing out. I'm sure it would work for this to hold it in tight without being as permanent as glue or silicone. Good luck
Loc-tite is NOT good for plastic. It will eat it/melt it. I dont know why but it does. I tried taking some from my dads work in a pill bottle, in a few days there was not much left of the bottle, and i didn't get to use any!
