I just bought a 3 pod a-pillar gauge cluster (I believe this is what you call it). It came with 2 gauges, a fuel mixture gauge and a voltage gauge. I will be buying a third gauge shortly. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could tell me how and where to hook up the wires to the gauges and if anyone had any tips when I do it. If there is already a write up that shows how to do this I would love it if someone could direct me to it. Thanks in advance and sorry if this issue has been already talked to death.

I will be posting pictures of the pillar and the gauges tonight if anyone wants to see my new purchase.

both those gauges you got are pretty much useless, just some not important stuff to look at.

I got it for really cheap from craigslist from a young kid, looked around 18.
Anyway I haven't given too much thought as to the actual gauges I just knew I liked the look. Any recommendations for the third gauge I should get is appreciated.

Go with a boost gauge, or if you want to get real fancy go with an Aeroforce Technology Inc | Products - Interceptor.

well I don't have a gtp, just a gt so I would think that the boost gauge would be useless to me but thanks for the recommendation...

I have always liked the quality and look of autometer gauges, but they are not the cheapest...it depends what you want from it. they have some cool lighting options and a professional look(they dont look cheap either)

    Auto Meter

pick style to look at which gauges are available for each. If money is no object look at getting one aeroforce gauge because it is so versatile, has many many functions, and can retrieve and reset codes.

Thanks for the link, however it still does not show me how to mount the actual plastic pillar and does anyone have a write up on how to install a voltage gauge? Thanks

Find a power and ground and hook the voltage to that.

    to install plastic pillar-

    1. line up gauge pillar over the stock plastic pillar
    2. get 3 screws
    3. screw in those screws in the holes provided into the stock plastic pillar underneath it.
