    Hey guys,
I'd like some help with an aftermarket stereo for my car. I have a few things I need in a new head unit. First it needs to work with my steering wheel controls. Second, It needs to support blue tooth audio. Third I'd like it to be Sirius compatible.

    Any recommendations?

It depends on what brand head unit you are looking for. I have an alpine in mine. The only downside to going with an alpine headunit is that everything is an accessory (add on) like bluetooth or HD radio. PAC audio makes a steering wheel control adapter which retains the functions of the steering wheel controls. It works with many headunits. A good place for reference is crutchfield. Then you can bargain shop elsewhere.

Go to a store and play with the decks and waste a salesman's time. Preferably at a non-commission store.

I'm looking at the Kenwood KDC-HD942 and from what I understand I'll need a separate unit for HD radio and satellite. Anyone shed some light on this?

Probably. How the hell else would they keep making money on the same deck they sold 5 years ago?
