OK.. i'm still in the process of tryin to hookup my ipod to my stock deck... just tryin to figure out a few things in the mean time.

for those with the cd changer STOCK.. does the stock head unit have an aux button somewhere on the unit.. or is it just accessed by hittin the cass/play button or something else?

i've heard that 01-03's can control cd changers even with a single cd in dash where 97-00 can not and have to have the cassette player. i have the 03 single cd so just tryin to figure out how i would get to the changer as i have no aux button

    thanks

As far as I know you need the cassette / eq headunit to use the cd changer. we're talking about the 12 disc one in the trunk right?

I thought I already did...? If this is not the answer, what are you looking for as I am missing your question. What difference does it make if the button says CD or AUX? they both do the same thing anyway..they access an external playing device...granted, the cd changer is designed to work with that deck and if you hook up anything else it is doubtful that you could control it with the deck/steering wheel controls unless it is designed specifically for our vehicle.

It sounds to me like you have an internal cd player and/or changer and have nothing for external controls at all, so I dont know where you could hook anything up to it. Hope this helps somehow
