What difference does it make if the button says CD or AUX? they both do the same thing anyway..they access an external playing device...granted, the cd changer is designed to work with that deck and if you hook up anything else it is doubtful that you could control it with the deck/steering wheel controls unless it is designed specifically for our vehicle.
It sounds to me like you have an internal cd player and/or changer and have nothing for external controls at all, so I dont know where you could hook anything up to it. Hope this helps somehow
