So yesterday, i was driving behind a cop, and all of a sudden the horn on my GTP just started to honk. It wasn't like the alarm was going off, just random bursts of honking. Any ideas?

my car did this too. i couldnt get it to stop so i pulled the horn fuse and never was able to use it again. i assumed it was grounding out somewhere and allowing the horn to just blare on its own.
If I told you I read your post without laughing, I'd be a liar.. Hah... Anything come of it though? And sorry I have no idea on what it would be!
Yes, i did get pulled over. Luckily the cop was a good sport and i explained the situation. I took the car into the dealership yesterday, and they just couldn't understand what happened, so im probably just going to disconnect it if it gets worse.
I've had my horn honk unexplained about 3 times in 3 years. I'll just be driving down the road and it will honk and scare the crap out of me. I was wondering what would cause this too
ha ya'll act like your hard butts, but that happened to me it would only do it if i had my tilt wheel all the way down, move it up a notch and it would stop, so i just dont move it all the way down anymore.
did anyone else think "little miss sunshine" when they read this?
^^lol funny shyt, but sounds like a wires getn pinched had these problems at my shop on gm cars, after awhile they get pinched or the plastic peice with the spring brakes and short to ground easy fix if u have the colum/steering wheel puller tools to take it apart and inspect the wires (u could even rent tool at autozone)
