Try driving down the road with them flashing blue or red, see what happens.

It's illegal in all states to have foward red/blue facing lights depending on what your local PD uses.

If a cop see's them even on blue, you may face charges of "Illegal use of blue lights" and it's not any fun from there.

    Once again, state law depending.

i dnt think the blue is illegal here. I drive past cops all the time while therye blue an never been pulled over while theyre that color. I dont know about the 06 prix fitment. I think they wouldn work for the newer ones because of the size of your foglights. The 04 an up have bigger foglights so even if they did work u would still have a big gap in between the foglights.

^ plus the 04+ have the turn signals in the fog lights, so that's another thing where you can't use this kit.

Hey guys I just got this kit and I was wondering if it's possible to use the original fog light switch to control the kit. I know the Halo's still need to be controlled by the little unit, but I want to use the original switch.

there is a kit for 04+ but like nawarkk said, it would take out your turn signal.

Yes. Just wire the fogs into the factory harness. You will have to cut off the factory plugs. Just use the harness that came with the new fogs for the Halo's. Alot of people will say that the factory harness and switch can't handle 55w bulbs but its fine.

Oh that's awesome. I was thinking about doing that today when I was looking at the original harness. Which color goes to which? I think there was a brown and black wire on the orignal harness. There is a white and black on the new fogs. I'm guessing the black on the original harness is the ground?

Ya white to brown. Black to black. Use butt connectors and heat shrink for years of trouble free fogs

They were brighter then my stock fogs. They are H3 bulbs at 55w and they look pretty good. If you want, I'll take pics for you when I'm done installing.

I have the Hella Optilux 2500 halo driving lights, they are good lights and made well, but because they are driving as opposed to fogs the beam pattern isn't really the best that close to the ground. A lot of reflection in rain and snow and get flashed a lot. If you can get a picture of the beam pattern I would appreciate it. Really looking for some good fogs that have the halos. Thanks

Be sure to send an email to ADD HALOS, or else they will ship the ones without Halos. Happened to me, and I sent the lights back and have to pay shipping again to receive the halo versions. I told them that the item description specifies Halos and that not receiving the item as described is misleading. Not sure if I will leave negative or neutral feedback.

    eBay My World - autopialighting

"A 7-color halo ring is FREE UPON REQUEST by e-mailing us immediately upon payment via ebay e-mail to "ADD HALOS" (DO NOT USE PAYPAL NOTES). The halos include all 7-colors shown, are built-in, and sit behind the glass lenses of the fog lights for a completely intergrated look. The single unit power switch changes the color of the halos. The power switch itself also changes colors to indicate which of the 7-colors you are currently using! If you do not request the halos, then you will receive standard fog lights with no halo ring."

Agreed the original fog lights are pretty bright but the colored halos rings arent that bright. Theyre more for looks than actually brightness. The light blue color is the brightest color to me.
