I installed a Peripheral PXDX Aux Input device to my 2004 GT2 factory stereo over the weekend. It works fine but every so often, while I'm driving, all my gauges (except the spedometer) and traction control quit working then come back. I didn't experience this before the PXDX install; so, logically, I have to believe the installation was the cause. I spliced power and ground for the unit into the outer cigarette ligher in the console. I can't imagine that it is the same circuit as the guages. Could it be that I pulled something loose behind the dash? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the process of installing a Peswix but I have my pioneer deck and everything running into the door fuse box into the 20 amp sunroof fuse.

I also have the same problem, but with my 04 Dodge truck. Works fine but about every 5 - 10 minutes my speedometer and tac turn off then back on. Less than one sec. And sometimes low fuel beep, beeps. I think that there is some feedback through the 12v system. I found this site while looking for my problem. I was hoping to find a solution. But now I think that what is needed is a electrical filter on the power to the PXDX. Good luck on finding a fix. If you do please post it here and I will do the same.

    Thank you,
    ray
