Well Toasty it really depends.......it depends on how many amps you want to draw from the outlet. Its small gauge wire, so it you plug in something that draws a far amount of amps, you could run the risk of roasting the wiring and the electrical component you have plugged into it.

But if you go with it? I would select this one.....

10 AWG 19/23 Type TXL Extra-Thin Wall (XLP) Automotive Primary Wire

At least that will afford you a little more protection with a tad bit thicker wire. I could not find any information on just how many amps can run through it, but I am guessing its NOT much.
