I have an appointment to get my windows tinted this Friday my question is which combo would look best? I know the legal limit for the front windows in MO is 35% but I'm not to worried if i get them darker, also if anyone has any pics that would help out a lot also.

Just noticed i put this in the wrong section, can it please be moved

Not the best tint pic but it's all I've got haha.
I went 15% in the front, 10% in the back. Don't tell the cops.

ps. I've heard of going 35% on the windshield and 5% on across the top of it too. but maybe someone else has a little more input on that one. I haven't done it myself nor do I plan on it in the near future, but it would be sick. haha

cool thanks for the pic man, i've been thinking about 5% in the back and 15% in the front but i am not sure how it looks. but the 10% with the 15% looks pretty good

Personally, I hate when tint is different perfents. I have 20 and it's not pitch black but it's still pretty dark.

Ya, I had a 1997 grand prix before this one, and it was 5% all the way around. AMAZING. haha the car was a heat score though. Never got in trouble for it, but I definitely could have haha.

That's why this time I decided on 15% for the front ones. I then chose 10% for the back ones because I didn't want it to be too noticeable. Do know that I DID concider 5% in the back but I chose against it. This ones up to you though! keep us posted!

I have 5% all the way around in my Tiburon and I agree, you cannot see to back up at night....or turn right! I also have a 5% strip and 70% on the entire windshield.

yea my buddy had 5% all the way around on his mustang and you could hardly see out of it at night, that is why i'm really debating on the 5% in the back, i think i am going to go with 10% in the back... now if only i could figure out what to go with in the front it's either going to be 15% or 20%

i got 5% all around and a 10" strip on my windsheild...i love it..yea at night it is hard to see but if u roll down ur windows nd use ur mirrors it is no problem...backing up with 10% will be just as hard...all i know is i am really glad i went as dark as i did because it really gave it a sweet look...just roll the windows down if a cop pulls up lol

I have 15% all around and i have to say its about the best of both worlds. Of course its still illegal but yet in some lightin conditions it doenst look as dark as it is. And you can basically see at night while backing up. Only time i can not see when backing up is if there are no other lights in the area and I just wanna be sure I see everything but i dont have to drop my head out of any window. I just drop the windows and use the mirros. Also when first applied 15% does give u the effect of not being able to see out of the windows but once it adheres all the way its perfectly fine. I'm considering getting my windshield tinted bc it will make the tint appear darker.

i usually would roll down the windows if cops came around, with my old car, only thing is you have to get through those first 2 weeks letting the tint dry not getting pulled over

So the final decision is that i am just going to go with 10% in the back and 15% up front.. thanks guys for all the help and i will be sure to post up some pics after i get it done

I have 70% on my entire windshield and it is legal here in Ohio. Alot of states allow some tint on the windshields now.

Mine is 5% on the rear driver and passanger seats and the rear window and then I have 20% on the driver and passanger front. That way i am a little closer to being legal in Missery

But agree, they are dark as chit as night. I have to roll down my window whenever I am backing out of a parking space or anything to get a true sense of what I am seeing. I even had purchased those ZZP high intensity reverse lights, and those didnt make a dent Others can see them nice shiney, but I cant from the inside

I have had it this dark for the past 2 years now and I haven't been stopped or anything by St. Louis County or any of the other muni's in the area. So obviously it doesn't rate to high on their "trouble" radar
