My wife's GTP had cool white LEDs in all the courtesy lights and dome/map lights when we bought it. They look incredible, but one of the map lights started blinking incessantly for some reason, so I switched them back to regular bulbs since I had a couple laying around. Started looking like a strobe light when the door was open. Funny at first, but it got old fast. I don't think it was a problem with installing them or anything, just a bad LED. I will probably order some new ones and switch them back.

Yeah that blinking is the LED going bad. When Paul was doing the installs on my car for the pictures that are on his site and here, we had a couple of them do that too. We just swapped em out and they were back to nice solid LED Cool White/Blue.Originally Posted by Abrasive

I ordered some the other day and well I have a problem w/ the dome light leds. they dont seem to fit it the slot. Ideas?

Which ones did you buy? And which overhead lights are you referring to? The Map ligts in the front, or the lights in the rear seat area of your car?

Both they don't fit in snug at all like I need to electric tape them, I bought the stage 2 kit....waste of money ill order some more but won't from him.

Uh if you're having problems with any of our products... send me a message... I can't do anything until I randomly find posts like yours. They have been tested and installed on your vehicle. The size is correct, it's not like buying the same bulb from another company would magically make it fit correctly. I can certainly help you out if you'd like to provide a more detailed description of the problem.

I just installed the stage 3 red lights from Diode Dynamics. They are amazing. Super bright. All my friends liked it when I had the stage 1's in. Now I can't wait to see what they have to say when they see the stage 3's.
I will continue using Diode Dynamics for my bulb needs.

Yes they will work for your front dome lights. I have used the 6 SMD boards and currently have the 12 SMD boards in mine.

Theres a website called diode dynamics online that I ordered my leds from they have 3 different light options and the kit comes with every single led for interior lights. I ordered red and white so if there any good Ill order more. I did upgrade the trunk light with a kit from pepboys its a 6 led pannel and it came with all the adapters to plug into the stock harness.

Led Change Does Make A Huge Diff. I Put Led Lights On My Hood A Few Months Back, But The Police Said It Was A Distraction To Other Drivers So I Had To Change Them.

Does anyone have any pics of an interior done in all red? I think it would match the gauges well but might be do much.

Hey, I know this is kinda late to add a reply...
But would anybody happen to know the voltage reading from the lights shining down to the pedals? That one light bulb on each side? My multimeter is out of commission right now
...Trying to add some LED's there. Probably some reds to match the dash lights. I already put blue in the door panel reflectors, and they look pretty sweet at night
