Thread: My system right now

does anyone know anything about jl audio? i want to make my subs louder. i dont know if i should upgrade my amp or box. from what i was told these subs are 150rms 300max. I was thinking maybe getting a kicker or memphis 400-600 amp and getting a ported box. got any ideas or anything to say about my idea?

check with s1795so2, he's got some good stuff on the cheap in the for sale section and could prob tell you what you need.

dont buy a bigger amp . all you will do is blow your subs . if you go to jl's website you will see some recommended subwoofer enclosures . they give you directions and everything on how to build one . build a box that is designed for your sub with the correct measurements and any sub will hit .
