Has any one ran into this-?
I have an 02 GT with the stock radio. The speakers have Bose written on them.
    What is happening:
When ever I drive down the road and go over anything(bots dots, small pot hole or anything that bumps the car) the rear passenger side speaker makes a crackling noise and the whine starts. What is really strange is that I can stop it by jiggling my power seat button or a window button or even the power door lock switch. But, the first bump in the road, it starts all over agian.
The whine kind of changes pitch with the engine RPMs.

    Any thoughts-?

    Thanks for any advise,
    Wolf

that would be what is commonly know as alternator noise it has a lot to dew with grounds try pulling out the deck and making sure the harness is not loose if thats ok and u still have the noise make sure the batt bolts are tight and if that dont work u can go to best buy or a car audio store and get a ground loop noise reducer (make this your last resort can be difficult to put it on a stock deck) and 1 more thing if its only 1 speaker check the wires on it make sure there on snug

    Thanks for the reply.
Both the alternator and battery have been changed since this problem arose.(about 3 years). I have yet to check the speaker wire connections. I did put a noise reducer on my '73 Firebird. Worked like a charm.

    Have a good one,
