I just noticed the last couple of days my s/c is a bit louder than normal, someone even made a comment yesterday while I was idling it whined. Is it my imagination, or is something failing? I haven't had a s/c engine long enough to have a wear issue before. I have changed the oil out

can you tell where the whine is comming from? may be time for some new bearings....just at idle or at all rpms?

I think all rpm's but it's hard to tell with my exhaust, sounds like it's near the coupler, but again hard to tell

are you sure it is the s/c and not something else. Like the power steering or any other pulley.

Pull the supercharger belt and run the engine...if it's still there then look somewhere else.

Mine whines when it is cold cold cold cold out... like below 0, which happened only a couple times this last winter. I also hear it excessively if I am going balls to the wall and then suddenly decrease speed, it seems to whine when I start to accelerate again.
