I have a 01 grand prix gt special edition and I recently put a 12' hypnotic zen12 in a custom box with the zx750.1 kicker amp. The car sounds like it is falling apart on the inside, the only thing rattling on the outside is the trunk lid. The bass does not sound clear like it should, but everything has been tuned the same to my friends grand prix and his sounds 100x better. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dynamat. Its a little heavey but you will see a tremendous difference. Just know that your spoiler will always rattle. I have tried everything and still rattles some.

Doesn't make a difference at all... dynamat will make a difference but will not help with the trunk rattle.

wow I figured the rubber would absorb some of the rattle.

Trust me they work nice for keeping water flowing, but they just don't do anything. In theory you would think they absorb the vibration but for the most part they just let the spoiler rattle more.

Band pass and ported help with rattle. Just like matt said...fire them into the vehicle; sound should be the same.

If you're using sealed then it's not gonna sound right :/ ...Keep it pointed towards the rear or try firing straight up in that case.
