I have a 2000 GTP coupe and have recently repaired the wiring harness between the driver door and the car (I bought the car with the harness cut) Now, the radio is supposed to lose all power when the key is removed and the driver/passenger door is opened. If the door is not opened, it will continue to play for 8-12 minutes with the key removed. On my car, the radio shuts off when the passenger door is opened, but not when the driver door is opened. However, the driver information center works on both doors. What could the issue be? Thanks.

could be a ignition harness gone bad.

parking lights tend to stop working right, heater/ac fan could also stay on, or only work on one speed or another.

I thought that it could be the ignition harness, but through further testing I arrived at the conclusion that it was fine. Thanks for the suggestion though

sounds pre existing, no clue how you tested it, but id replace it for the lousy 45 bucks it costs.
