Hey guys, I'm sure it's been beaten to death now, but I'm swapping my interior lights over to LED and was really wondering if anybody's using eithor of these. I'm trying to do this the cheapest way possible, with hopefully some decent results. Any input is greatly appreciated.. If I had the $$ i would have just ordered them all from Diode Dynamics, but $36+ shipping for the few lights I wanted, was far more than I was willing to spend right now. Seeing as how i'm on a super tight budget!

I've already bought these ones to replace the lights in the Overhead "Map" lights

If you haven't used those bulbs in the OP.. but used other "cheap" led's off ebay, I love to see what you used, and your opinion on them!

I would stay away from the cheap-o eBay leds. I bought one of them 10 packs for $7 years back. Each led lasted about 30 days at best. Get brand name or even better, go to Diode Dynamics for good price and good quality.

Diode Dynamics is the way to go. I have reviews on some of their LED's in the diode dynamics section of this forum.

My cheap Amazon LEDs from 3 years are still working.
The cheap ones have 1 wire a side and sometimes they aren't long enough.
I recently spent a little more and got some with better wires but haven't put them in yet.
It's been 3 months and I am already forgetting I have them.

I had some cheap LED's that I got off ebay to use in my cluster. They started to fail at around 3 months. Swapped over to diode dynamics and they have been going strong for about a year now.

I've had the cheap eBay LEDs in my truck on the interior for almost a year now with no issues, also have had a set from eBay in my foglights on the truck. Debating to take the risk with eBay lights for the GP or to just go to DD and get them.
