My 02 GP has the factory Bose AM/FM/CD player in it and all work fine. However, in the upper left corner where the clock and station display window is located it is totally black. IF I go to the junk yard and purchase another factory unit what information do I need to get off of the donor vehicle so that I can plug it into my car and have it work? On the face plate of my radio it says Theftlock. Thanks for your assistance, Bill

The bulb is most likely dead. Take the radio apart and swap the bulb out. No need for a new radio.

If its anything like the 04+ radios (and I think it is) the bulb can't just be swapped. It has to be desoldered and a new one soldered in.

Stealthee, you are correct. Have been told by a few that tried that method that the replacement bulbs for whatever reason just don't seem to last very long.
