No typo... I just looked it up 9 is a "check digit" so that will vary from car to car. And 10 is the year so that will vary between years.

May have to PM and get together some time and take a picture of the cars together. I actually live near Chickasha, work in OKC. Was that wild last night,
maybe not as destructive as May 20, but it was wild. It went south of you, but the wind and hail was pretty bad, did you come out ok? As I said, my wife is in Tulsa at a conference where the 07 is. Keep in mind just got it, just had hail repair, I asked her if the hotel had covered parking, she said, you will have to protect it the old fashion way, "pray". Will not know how it survived till later today. The storms did track that way.

My first 11 are 2G2WC58C77 I wonder why I have an 8 and you two have 5's?
That is strange, this link I found says you have roof airbags and I don't from that digit being different. Maybe later in 07 they added more airbags?? See what you think it means: http://service.gm.com/dealerworld/vincards/pdf/vincard07.pdf Hope your cars okay, I know I've had my share of cars get smashed with hail and it sucks!! Speaking of hail smashed cars you really want a pic next to my ugly pile? lol
Weather was nuts, all that major stuff went right in by and we barely got rained on. But then about 11 it started raining hurricane style and I ended up with this:
I got a call from my renter down on southside of the city 89th&penn and I get yet another roof on that house. He said its raining in the house and roof is only 3 years old Then I still have my old house for sale in "the vilage" I heard that area got hail but I'll have to go see what it did. Tired of this crap...
Mine does not... I know mines an early 07 cause I have the forged Alcoa wheels which I guess they switched halfway through 07, and cause my manufacture date is August of 06. Vin numbers are fun!
i don't believe mine has this either...
Per my original window sticker, the side curtain air bags were optional. It's listed in the option packages section. Ironically enough that was the only option ordered on my car by the first owner. The only options avaliable were the sun and sound package, which upgraded to the CD 6 and a moonroof, and the navigation radio. Everything else was standard on the GXP in 08. I believe onstar and Sirius XM were optional in years prior, as well as the dual zone digital climate control.

I'm still searching for a nav radio. I upgraded to the six disk and got a inbuilt moonroof installed last year. The nav really dresses up the interior.

Yea...a cooler and shift kit and tune will help
