Thanks for the suggestion, but after observing some more I noticed that the car in the morning even though it goes into gear the Drivers Info Center where it displays what gear the shift lever is in would show something other then drive. Yesterday it showed it was in neutral yet the shift lever was in drive and I was driving the car, but more importantly the car thought it was in nuetral so the ECM module limits the RPM to 3500, so when I try and take the car over 3500RPM it cuts out, just as though I was sitting in the driveway in park. So now I just have to find the sensor responsible for sticking and not reading the shift lever position.
