    I have a whine , I'm sure its the air compressor . Clutch bearing maybe.. has anyone else had this happen so quickly , its only a 2007 GXP.....

    My 06' might be developing the same issue.. I'm gonna take a piece of heater hose (Rad Hose) and use it like an ear horn.. Thats the only way I could dial in which pulley was goin out. Tried the stethoscope but the sound traveled through to every bracket and pulley.. JME
    THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!

    Why not just pop the belt off and spin the pulleys?
    2001 Regal GS, PLOG, 3" DP, 1.9's/L76 springs. 21* of timing on a 3.4"

    Popping the belt off a GXP is a mofo.. Tensioner is a bastard. GM dealer where I'm at didn't even have the "proper" gm tool to do. I wish it was as easy as a 3.8
    THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!

    Ahh yes I forgot there is a 5.3 liter V8 shoved in that engine bay lol.

    Ups...good power from the factory, sound good.
    Down....slim aftermarket...probably a PITA to work on. IDK...never messed with one..just assuming it is. lol
