On the top of the fuse box is where you're supposed to place the positive cable if you're getting a boost.

Negative goes to an unpainted body part.

Neither end of the jumper cables should touch your battery when receiving a boost.

All of that should be covered in the owners manual.

As for the specific GXP coverage, it doesnt look much different at all to me. Minus the top post versus side post.

Calling the guy a tool is a bit much.
