Do the GXP's come stock with a fog light HID set up in which I could switch to a different bulb or would I need to get a whole kit if I were to want a 6000k 35w set up.

You would need a whole kit. As far as I've ever seen (a lot of cars) no cars come with hid fogs because halogens cut through fog better.

So would it be better just to stick with my original fogs, cause I mean for appearance reasons to look better with my hid headlights...what would be the best idea?

The light output is better and it's in a projector so you won't be blinding people either, I say do it. Only issue is that to get to the fog bulbs in a GXP you either have to take the entire plastic splash shield out under the car or remove the plastic grille piece. I've always done the latter but you always take the risk of breaking the plastic tabs holding the grille in place.

That's the best pic I have of the HID fogs. I was working on a projector retrofit with my headlights and was comparing the 4300K fogs with the 5000K headlights.

for appearance purposes go with the hids that match your head lights, however there are alot of people on g6performance.com that ive seen that use 3000k for fogs as it is a yellow light to better cut through fog, most of them are from canada and areas prone to heavy fog, in my g6 i have 10,000K in my low beams and fog lights and havent had any problems with light fog,

That would be way too difficult. When I did mine, I found two small access doors with fog light insignia on them. They're on the splash guard. Pop them open and there's a perforated area with a cut symbol. Cut it out and reach in easily to access the bulb. When you're done just close the access doors and lock them in with the tab that held them in originally. Done deal.
