I need some major help, here's the issue. My outside temp sensor started reading erratic, temp reading 120 degrees one time -100 others which effected my AC unit. I replaced the sensor with a new one and here's where the other issues started showing up. After replacing the sensor I removed the neg battery cable and left off over an hour to reset the ECM or PCM whichever. After this procedure there were more issues, first this did not fix my outside temp problem Im still getting erratic temp readings which affects the AC ability to control the cars inside temp, second after i drove a few miles I got a Service Traction control system, service ABS system, Service Stability control system, Service brake system plus, now my cruise will not work. All this after i replace my outside temp sensor and disconnected the neg battery terminal. The battery is reading normal and its less than a year old. Any help to resolve this issue without having to depend on a dealer would be greatly appreciated. Forgot to mention this is on my 08 GP GXP 5.3L LS4

Is the neg. cable clean and tight? A lot of electrical strangeness can occur even it it's slightly loose. And whenever the ABS light is on cruise is disabled. Fix the ABS issue and cruise will come back.

Thanks junkie on the cruise info, as for as the neg im sure it was tight and clean, however a 2nd or even 3rd check is better than letting a dealer mechanic fix it

Did you figure out why you got the service traction, stability, abs and brake system messages? I'm getting them now as well. Also, the DIC doesn't say it but my magnasteer gets turned off as well.

FYI, a few years back I had the erratic temp readings as well, but my AC always worked fine. (well until a couple weeks ago anyway)
