Re: Range active fuel management disable device
I'm sure that my burnouts are not good for the entire tranny for sure but what the heck do you buy a GXP for it you don't want to burn the rubber off of the tires. I paid $3600 for my 2006 GXP with 120k on it last year. The guy just wanted out of his loan and that's what he still owed on it. I have 4 other cars to drive if I need to so this one is my stress reliever burnout machine. When the diff blows, it just gives me an excuse to get a REAL trans put in instead of this weak stock unit. Burn baby burn. I LOVE the look on the Honda owner's faces when I lay a smoky burnout. This car was cheap therapy for me for sure and I have AAA to tow it home when she blows up.

Define a "real" tranny. And you sound like a child.

Thanks for the compliment. I'll always be a child at heart. Don't take life too seriously man. This GXP is not my whole life. It's just a toy for this child. C ya around. I gotta go play with my toy now.
Re: Range active fuel management disable device
I emailed him about getting my pcm to him but I have heard back.

That is the bigger picture, the two are completely separate functions. Just because you want them to be defined as the same thing doesn't mean they are in the real world.

And most people haven't learned to spell or type any better than the average high school person, either.
Re: Range active fuel management disable device

It does what it says it does. Keeps all 8 going all the time. And seems to be more responsive while driving but that might just be the snake oil going down. 😉
I got it at auto anything with a coupon code for like 158 bucks. I like that I can move it to a different rig if I want and maybe it will save me some engine work down the line.
