Thread: smoke out of the air vents

I got new plugs and wires on the car and did a coolant flush. took it out for the first drive.
after i floored it, smoke started coming out of the air vents.

any thoughts?

I'm guessing it's NOT from an insane amount of wheel spin ?

it could be something burning on the exhaust like oil.

yeah coolant can burn but it would smell like pancakes tho

Well the air comes in through the cowl on the passenger side correct? I would check under the hood at idle and revved up a few times to see any visual smoke

i think it was leftover coolant from the flush sitting on the manifolds. i ran it in the driveway for a while reved it up to 3k for a few minutes, and nothing.
The first drive was fairly short <2 miles

Yea so do you have puddles of coolant on your floor? If not , don't think your heater core cracked

i haven't heard a horse in 4 years

Why do people paw their exhaust with dirty hands then wonder why there's smoke?
