Hello all.. I have a 2003 gtp, and one of my cooling fans isn't turning on, and in traffic the temp seems to continue to rise with a/c on.. I turned the a/c off when I noticed this. And it seemed to level off.

When I got home I opened the hood and saw that the drivers side fan was working with the a/c on max..

I'm getting ready to head out to check the cooling fan fuses to see if I might have blown one.

Am I correct in assuming the when a/c is on that both fans should be running?

    Thanks in advance. .

Check the cooling fan relay #9, it diverts the passenger fan from the drivers fan, to ground. It should click when they come on high, but not when on low.

Good to hear. Was it the relay?

The harness connector from the rad fans to the engine harness burns out sometimes. Happened to 3 regals so far

Driving back from Urbana yesterday I noticed the temperature was rising with the a/c running again.

When I got home I raised the hood and felt for air movement from the passenger fan,and sure enough, the fan wasn't running..

I then pressed on the connecter to the fans, and the fan came on..

I shut the car off and let it cool a bit, then I went back out and disconnected the connector for the fan and one of the pins on the male connector was black, and the corresponding female pin was black..

Remember pushing them together and fans come on. So I'm wondering how hard it is to replace that connector, or should I get someone to do it for me..
Once again thanks guys for all your help...

You can buy the connector at a parts store or cut one off another car from the the junk yard. I've done both and neither one has given me any issues since knock on wood
